This is one of the oldest Churches in Mumbai. The statue of Mount Mary is made is made out of wood. Jesuits from Portugal brought the Statue of Our Lady during the 16th Century. The Statue of Mount Mary is placed atop the Main Altar. This Church is located on a small hillock in Bandra. This Church is built facing Arabian Sea. In the year 1738 Marathas demolished this Church. This Church was rebuilt again in the year 1760. It is believed that the Statue of Our Lady was floating in the sea and later it was brought to this Church. This Church follows the Gothic Revival Architectural Style.
