This Church is also known as St.Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.  It is located on the Convent Road near Race Course in Dehradun City.  It’s built in the tourist paradise of Dehradun at an altitude of 1400 feet above mean sea level. This Church is one of the oldest Church in Uttarakhand and it is more than a century old building.  It not only attract Christians but many travellers and tourists who visit Dehradun drop in at this Church and offer Prayers here.  The Paintings of this Church depicts the life history of St. Francis.  It is believed that a war prisoner from Italy, Nino was well talented in Paintings.  Due to this St. Francis asked Nino to paint seven huge frescoes high on the walls of this Church.  Several ancient Biblical Paintings which were almost on the verge of getting ruined where repainted and preserved in the year 2004 by Italian Artist Lorenzo Cassamenti.   During the Christmas eve and New Year the Church activities are in full swing and the entire Church complex is lit with lights and illuminated drawing lots of crowd from far and near.
