Andalamma Temple, Dharmabad, Peddapalli District, Telangana

  • Andalamma Temple, Dharmabad, Peddapalli District, Telangana

It is believed that this Temple is 300 years old and built by a local Landlord Narashinga Rao. This Temple speaks volume about Goddess Andalamma surprisingly for whom there is no Idol in this Temple. Two reasons are attributed to it  I) Before the Idol could be installed the builder Narashinga Rao died and II) The Idol installed was stolen by some local thieves. The Temple located in a picturesque ambience surrounded by hillocks all around. A lot of flim shootings takes place here and many Devotees who come to pary Andalamma get disappointed in not seeing her Idol Here and use this place as a picnic spot. There is no water supply and electricity to this Temple and the Govt has done nothing for the Temple.

Temple Timing: 7 AM to 6 PM
