Sri Naganatha Swamy Temple is located in a Hamlet called Keezhachur in Pallikonda on the banks of River Paalar.  The Temple has a colourful Gopuram depicting several Gods.  The full name of the Temple is Arulmigu Sivagami Ambal Udanurai Naganatha Easwarar Temple.  The Temple is several centuries older than the Pallikonda Ranganathar Temple.  It was built by the great Chola Emperor Paranthaga Cholan who is supposed to be much senior than even Raja Raja Cholan.  This Temple has 4 Sub Shrines for Vinayagar.  The first and foremost Vinayagar is close to the entrance and is known as Dwara Vinayagar.  The Valampuri Vinayagar Sub Shrine is on the outer peripheral of the Temple.  The third Vinayagar is placed close to the Sanctum Sanctorum and is called as Sundara Vinayagar. The fourth Vinayagar close to the Ambal Sub Shrine is called as Mangala Vinayagar.  Naganatha Easwarar is an incarnation of God Shiva and He is found in the Sanctum Sanctorum as a Divine Shiva Lingam.  There are two Nandhi Bhagwan Idols here.  The first smaller Nandhi facing the Sanctum Sanctorum is called as Adhikara Nandhi and the second bigger Nandhi which is called as Pradhosha Nandhi is kept on the outer peripheral of the Temple.  He too faces the Moolavar Naganatha Easwarar through a small gaping hole.  Goddess Sivagami Ambal who is an incarnation of Goddess Parvathy is found Blessing Her Devotees in another Sub Shrine.  There is a Separate Shrine for the Urchavamoorthy Natarajar who is found along with Sivagami Ambal.  There are Sub Shrines for Nalvar, (Appar, Sundarar, Sammandhar and Manikavasagar), Thiruneelakanda Nayanar, Narthana Ganapathy, Dhakshina Moorthy, Maha Vishnu, Brahmma, Chandikeshwarar and Durgai, Chandran, Suryan, Valli Devasena Samedha Arumugar, Goddess Jeshta Devi, Kaala Bhairavar, Iyyappan.  The Navagraha Vigrahams are together kept in an enclosure.  A few Idols of Naga Devathas are kept beneath an Arasa Maram on the outer side close to the main entrance.  The Temple has a Madapalli or a Temple Kitchen attached to it.  On entering the Temple there is a small hall with a red oxide coating and a small podium.  Temple festivals and rituals could be conducted here. The Sthala Viruksham of the Temple is Vilva Maram and the Sacred Tank or Pushkarani is River Paalar.  One has to wade through several narrow streets to reach this Temple but on reaching the Temple there is ample car parking space available.  A Flower vendor too is available selling Flowers and all Pooja Articles.  Those affected wih Rahu and Kethu Dosham come here and Pray before Naganatha Easwarar in order to get relief.  Hence this Temple is considered to be a Rahu Kethu Parihaara Sthalam.
