This Sakthi Vinayakar Temple is situated in a busy market road junction known as Sandhaipettai in the heart of Kaveripattinam. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Vinayagar in the name of Sakthi Vinayakar. The Moolavar in the Sanctum Sanctorum looks glittering and appealing to the eyes of any Devotees visiting here. The Presiding Deity is kept on an elevated podium and in one corner of the Sanctum Sanctorum the Urchavamoorthy Pillayar is also found. The Temple Kumbabishekam was done just a year ago. The Temple has a compound wall and iron grills are found fitted over it. It also has an iron grill gate. The Temple walls are grayish in colour and the images and Idols kept on top of the Temple are colourfully painted and gorgeous to look at. The ceiling of the Temple is painted and decorated with different colours. The Temple is unique since the ceiling opposite to the Presiding Deity has an image of two snakes which are about to consume the Suryan and Chandran. This indirectly tells us as to how a Lunar and a Solar Eclipse happens. Vinayagar Chathurthi, Sankadahara Chathurthi are celebrated in a grand manner. It is also noteworthy to mention that during Pongal time most of the Cows and Bulls are made to congregate here in a festive mood. Since the Temple is located in a very busy and narrow Sandaipettai Market area there is a steady inflow of Devotees to this Temple. The Temple does not have any parking area and hence car parking is very tough here on any given day.
