The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Murugan. He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consorts Valli and Deivanai. This Hill Top Temple is one of the Aarupadai Veedu of Lord Murugan and this is the only Arupadai Veedu where Lord Murugan can be seen along with His Consorts. Initially a Spear alone was present instead of Lord Muruga’s Idol later the Idols of the Presiding Deity and His Consorts ware installed in this Temple. The Naaval Maram is the Sthala Viruksham of this Temple. There is a Huge Sacred Tank in this Temple called Noopura Ganga and Devotees visiting this Temple take a Holy Dip here and worship Rakkayi Amman before entering this Temple. There is a Motorable Ghat Road and Mini Bus facility is available for the Devotees to reach the hill top Murugan Temple and come back.  Some Devotees prefer walking along the Ghat Road to reach the Temple but there is a risk involved due to Monkey menace.  Skandha Sashti is celebrated in a grand manner along with Lord Murugan’s Wedding  Ceremony.
