The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Goddess Kali Devi and She is an incarnation of Goddess Sakthi. This Temple is located in Manjit Nagar in Patiala. This is one of the famous and most beautiful Temple in Punjab. It was the Maharaja of Patiala, His Excellency Bhupinder Singh, who in the year 1936 was bent upon in building this Temple and made arrangements to fetch the 6 foot tall statues of Goddess Kaali Devi and Pawan Jyot from West Bengal to Patiala. The Temple is now located opposite to the Baradari Gardens. There is another older Temple known as Shri Raj Rajeshwarji which is situated within this complex. Some Devotees bring Coconuts, Sweets, Mustard Oil, Bangles, Goats, Hens, Liquor etc to the Temple as their offering and these are accepted by the Temple. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is considered to be a Kula Devata for many local people of Patiala. Local festivals of this Temple attracts a huge gathering of Devotees from far flung areas.
