This Temple is located in Brahmagiri Road, Sector 22, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. It is also called as Balaji Mandhir by many North Indians. This Balaji Temple at Nerul, Navi Mumbai is a miniature replica of the Balaji Temple at Thirupathi. The Temple is located in a lovely ambience with a winding Motorable Ghat Road full of lush green forestry. Devotees could reach this Temple by footsteps too. It was the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Sabha at Nerul who wanted to have a Balaji Temple in Nerul, Navi Mumbai for the needs of the Devotees residing in and around this area. On December 1991 this part of a small Hillock was chosen for Bhoomi Pooja and the Sankarachariya Swamiji of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peedam graced the occasion. There are Sub Shrines for Rama, Seetha, Lakshmana, Krishna with Rukmani, Vishvaksenar, Garudaralwar, Sudharshanar, Padmavathy Thaayar, Yoga Anjaneyar, Lakshmi Narasimhar, Vidhya Ganapathy, Ramanujar and Navagraha Sannadhi. There is a tall Rajagopuram which is of Height 60 feet and there ae around 200 ornate Idols of various Deities from different Abimana Sthalams and Divya Desams. They have a Temple in the front and rear too. This Temple was built following Shilpa Shastra. There is a small Temple Kitchen for the Devotees and free Prasadams are offered. This Temple is particularly sought after by all Madrasis living in and around Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
