This Temple is located at the entrance of the Bhadrachalam Town on the banks of River Godavari. There is a Welcome Arch on the Main Road which leads us to the Temple of Sri Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy. On the left side as we enter there is a Shrine for Lord Ganesha and the Silver Kaapu covering the black stone is eye captivating. Lord Garuda and Lord Hanuman are found as Dwara Baalakaas in this Shrine. There is a small Mandapam where religious functions could be held and next to it another colourful statue of Abhaya Anjaneya. There are a flight of steps which are wide and painted in red oxide. On reaching the top there is a Bali Peedam with a glittering Golden Colour Dwajasthambam. On reaching the Sanctum Sanctorum through these steps the black and resplendent Idol of Abhaya Anjaneya Swami could be seen in the Sanctum Sanctorum. The walls of the Sanctum Sanctorum are neatly tiled and Devotees could circumambulate Him for a small pradakshanam to seek His Blessings. Next to the Temple one can find a massive Abhaya Anjaneya Statue measuring more than 30 feet kept in the Temple Park. There are statues for Radha Krishna and Kaalinganardhana Krishnar and a small fee is levied for entering this Temple Park. Sri Rama Navami and Hanumath Jayanthi are celebrated here in a large scale with all Devotees and Tourists thronging here on these days.
