Shri Abaya Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Subramaniya is located in South Kannada District of Karnataka. This Temple is situated around 200 meters before Sri Kukke Subramanya Temple. The Temple is wonderfully constructed and painted in Saffron colour while the roofing are of typical Mangalorian style. On entering the Temple the authorities have impressively displayed a golden colour Idol of Sri Anjaneya Swamy wherein He is found in a kneeling posture with Sanjeevi Hills in His right hand and His mace grounded to the floor with His left hand and this is found on the arc of the Main Temple. A small Nandavanam or a Temple Garden impresses any Devotees who come here. There is a Temple Office with a Seva counter where different fee is collected for various Sevas for the benefit of the Devotees. The Main Mandapam is slighted elevated and looks impressive with its black tiles and stone pillars. In the Sanctum Sanctorum Sri Anjaneya Swami looks majestic in a standing posture with His right hand in a Abhaya Hastham and His left hand resting on His left shoulder with a Mace. The Temple has a Temple Kitchen or a Neivedhya Koodam wherein Prasadams are made and offered to Devotees visiting here. There are two brass bells and two bronze oil lamps available. There is a Thulasi Maadam and next to it is a sacred well. The actual existence of this Temple is still unknown but a recent four day Kumbabishekam beginning from 6.4.2013 to 9.4.2013 was completed successfully. The Temple has a compound wall with a steel gate and apart from this there is a barbed fencing on top of the compound wall as a safety measure. A small rest room is available for the sake of the Temple staff. This Temple is under the care and control of Kukke Sri Subramanya Temple. Sri Rama Navami, Hanumath Jayanthi are celebrated in a grand manner. In recent days visitors and Devotees visiting Kukke Sree Subramania Swamy Temple make it a point to visit Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy Temple too to seek His Blessings.
