The Temple is located in one of the highest peak of Yelagiri Hills.  The Presiding Deity is Lord Murugan.  The highlight of the Temple is that Lord Murugan & Valli take the form of Kuravan & Kurathi respectively.  It is a private Temple and Mr.Nasi and his family members are maintaining it. The Temple was constructed in the year 1964.  The hilltop Murugan  Temple could be reached by a motorable road and footsteps too.  At the starting point of this road is an exclusive shrine of Baktha Anjaneyar.  The Peacock and Bali Peedam here is carved out of a single rock.    All the Shrines have metallic roofing.  There is a  Shrine for Lord Ganesh and Navagraham is also found.  A statue of Gadothgajan in standing posture is an attraction here.  The entire flooring is cemented and there are steel railing on all four sides.  A Spear / Vel is kept on top of the main Sanctum.   The Temple Priest Mr.Vel is one of the family members of Mr.Nasi.
