The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Dhanvantari and He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. One of the unique aspect of this Temple is that all 468 Sithar can be seen as a Shiva Lingam Here in this Temple. This Temple is also known as Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam and was established by DR. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal. This Temple is considered as a universal place for all ailments since the Presiding Deity is known as God of Health. It is believed that all devotees are relieved from all ailments after consuming the Prashadam.
