This Temple is located in a place called Ghati Subramanya which is quite close to Doddaballapura. It is a Hill Top Temple with two huge South facing  Welcome Arches at various points of the roads at the foot hills of the Temple. Both these Welcome Arches have various coloured Idols of Gods and Serpants on them. A motorable ghat road leads to the Temple for which the Temple Administration levies a fee for all types of vehicles coming here. Ghati Subramanya Temple attracts a lot of Devotees and Tourists alike since its just 60 kilometres away from the state capital of Bengaluru. Ghati Subramanya Temple is East facing with a coloured five tiered Rajagopuram. Opposite to this Rajagopuram there is a multiple headed Serpent Idol kept on a podium. They have erected a stage outside this Rajagopuram where functions could be held. On other days this place is used as a vehicular parking area. Most areas within the Temple premises are covered with tin sheet roofing to prevent the Devotees from Rain and Sunshine. Within the Temple all the Gopurams which are located at various points have coloured Idols of Gods and Goddesses and are mostly covered with wire mesh. There is a tall Dwajasthambam beneath which the Images of Ganapathi, Peacock and Serpent are etched in Silver. This Dwajasthambam or Flag Staff faces the Sanctum Sanctorum. The Moolasthanam of this Temple is quite small and it is believed that the Presiding Deity was excavated from the Mother Earth several centuries ago. This Temple is totally unique from other Temples since it has two Deities in the Moolasthanam. The Deities of Karthikeya or Subramanya is on the frontal side whereas Lord Narasimha Swamy is found on the rear of the same stone. Karthikeya or Subramanya faces East and is seen with a 7 headed Serpent. He could be viewed by the Devotees in a normal manner. The Narasimha Swamy Idol faces Westwards and could not be seen by a normal Devotee visiting the Temple. Hence the Temple Authorities have put up a mirror before the Narasimha Swamy Idol making it easier for the Devotees to view Him through the mirror. Therefore any Devotee visiting this Temple can view the Presiding Deity of Subramanya and Narasimha Swamy at the same time. Both these Idols are on the front and back of the same stone which was excavated from the Earth a few hundred years before. Close to the Moolasthanam there is a Navagraha Sannadhi where Devotees can circumambulate. Closeby are two Palanquin made out of Silver and Wood. Close to the Navagraha Sannadhi there is a Thulabaaram for the sake of the Devotees. Devotees can opt for either a Free Dharsan or a Paid Dharsan for which facilities exist. The rear outer wall of the Sanctum Sanctorum has a Serpent Idol cut on its wall making it look very unique to the eyes of the Devotees. Perhaps the disabled and handicapped could find it a bit tough since there are many steps going up and down within this Temple before finally a Devotee could come to the Sanctum Sanctorum. All places within the Temple premises are kept meticulously clean. The Temple Authorities have ercected a huge tin sheet roofing under which Functions could be held with ease. The area between the huge Car Parking and the Temple Entrance has an old Viruksham under which they have displayed thousands of Naga Devatha Idols in an orderly way. Ghati Subrahmanya Temple has a huge Temple Kitchen and its fascinating to note that all the Devotees visiting this Temple are served with Lunch / Food during the day time. The lunch hall too is kept very clean with water dispensers for the benefit of the Devotees eating there. Almost all the Devotees visiting this Temple have Free Lunch here as a Prasaadham in their Annadhana Koodam. There are shops flung all over the Temple area. These sell Divine Pooja Articles like coconuts, fruits, flowers, garlands etc. Childless couples visit this Temple and it is believed that they are Blessed with a Lovely Kid very soon. This Temple is considered as a Naga Dosha Parihaara Sthalam.
