This Temple is called as Sri Gour Vihar Ashram. It is better known as Gupta Vrindavan or Mata Matha. It is located in Gitanjali Road, Baliapanda Housing Board Colony on the outskirts of Puri and any Tourist or Devotee visiting Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri would never miss coming here. There are several rows of Divine shops located outside the Temple. This Temple is around 150 years old and the speciality here is that all Gods and Goddesses of Saivaite and Vaishnavism are found here. In short, its a conglomeration of different Deities and various Sculptures placed neatly in a huge area in an orderly way so that it attracts the attention and brings a sense of sacredness in the minds of any Devotees visiting here. This ashram is named after Saint Gouranga and they generally followed Vaishnavaite Tradition but never averse to Saivisam too. There is flat entry fee of Rs.10/- per head for anyone visiting this place and there is no bar to mobile, photos or videography. There are Multiple Statues of Lord Jagannath, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna likewise a Statue of Meera singing Bhajans of Sri Krishna is found. There is a Statue for Buddha and huge Black Shivalingam next to it. There is a huge golden colour statue of Hanumanji found chanting Ram Dhun. The entire Temple Premises is run and maintained by Sri Gour Vihar Spiritual Charitable Trust, Puri. There is a Temple Tank in which Goddeses Mahalakshmi is found to Bless Her Devotees. Next to it is a replica of Gajendra Moksh which depicts Lord Vishnu saving an Elephant from a Crocodile. A colourful statue of Lakshmi Narasimha is a real beauty of this place. There are Statues in sitting postures for Saints Adi Sankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Nimbakacharya, Madwacharya and Ballabacharya. A boat is afloat in a lake with Meera singing Krishna Bhajan and Lord Krishna seated by her side. Close to it Infant Krishna is found floating on a huge leaf without getting sunk. Also the Devars and Asuras are seen holding a giant Serpant and churning the massive ocean. A massive statue has been erected for Saint Ramanujacharya. A mini auditorium for conducting spiritual events is found with seating arrangement for nearly 100 onlookers. A Ghoshala is being run and maintained by the Temple Trust.
