The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Hanuman. He Blesses His Devotees in a standing posture with both hands joined together. Here the Presiding Deity is 24 feet tall which indicated the 24000 slokas of Valmiki. The Idol of Lord Hanuman is visible from very far distance since this is one of the Tallest Idol of Lord Hanuman in entire Kanyakumari. This Temple is located very close to a Perumal Temple. On the walls of this Temple different scenes from Ramayana Epic can be seen. There is a small Nandhavanam in this Temple and there is no roof here. The Kumbabhishekam was performed on 26th February 2009. Though being a Hanuman Temple attracts thousands of Devotees on Mahashivarthri Day. Vadai Malai, Vennai Kappu, Betel Leaf Garland is used to decorate Lord Hanuman. It is believed that visiting this Temple for seven consecutive days and offering Betel Leaf garland is considered as auspicious one. Festivals like Mahashivarathri, Lakshadeepam, Vishu, Hanumath Jayanthi and monthly Moola Nakshatram are celebrated in a grand Manner.
