Sri Kalyana Prasanna Venkataramanar Swamy Temple, Mohanur is a 3 tiered East facing Temple built on the banks of River Cauvery. The Temple is located in a residential locality with a small canal running before it. They have a small bridge for the sake of the Devotees to reach the Temple. To the right of the Rajagopuram is a East facing Dwara Ganapathy Sub Shrine and to the left is a East facing Nagaraja Sub Shrine. The Rajagopuram and the adjoining structures have various Godly Deities and also a Sangu and a Chakaram. A stone Dwajasthambam could be seen outside the Rajagopuram. On entering the Temple premises there are a few Bali Peedam along with a metallic Dwajasthambam and the Garudalwar Sub Shrine kept close to it faces the Moolasthanam of the Temple. On entering the Moolasthanam a huge and colourful Venkatachalapathy Idol is placed North facing and it looks splendid to see. Before entering the Moolasthanam there are Sub Shrines for Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar, Navaneetha Krishnan along with Rukmani and Sathyabhama and also Aandal and all of them face Eastwards. There is also and exclusive East facing Sub Shrine for Sammohana Gopalan who is a fusion of both Kannan and Radhai and is as Eka Swaroopam. It means that Kannan and Radhai stand united as a single Idol to the eyes of the Devotees. The Presiding Deity of Sri Kalyana Prasanna Venkataramana Perumal is seen in the Sanctum Sanctorum. He faces East and is in a standing posture flanked by His Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. The Urchavamoorthy Idol too is found in the Moolasthanam. Padmavathy Thaayar and Dhanvanthri Perumal have separate Sub Shrines and are found East facing. A lot of Devotees come to this Temple for Praying to Chakrathalkwar. Yoga Narasimhar too is found to the rear of Chakrathalwar in the same Sub Shrine. Around the Koshtam of the Moolavar are the Idols of Chinthamani Ganapathy, Lakshmi Varahar, Lakshmi Narasimhar, Lakshmi Hayagreevar and Vishnu Durgai. Sri Bala Maruthi's Idol is placed in a separate Sub Shrine in the outer peripheral. The Idol of Metha Saraswathy is also seen. The Temple has a Sub Shrine in which Rama, Seetha Lakshmana, and Anjaneya are found South facing. There is an exclusive Palliarai and a Sorgaa Vaasal entrance which is opened only during Vaikunda Ekadesi. There is another Sub Shrine in which the four Idols of Sri Ramanujar, Sri Desikar, Sri Viswaksenar and Nammalwar are seen South facing. A Cauvery Thaayar Sannadhi which is East facing is also an important Sub Shrine. The Temple has a Yaagasalai in which Yaagam, Homam etc could be done. The Temple has a bigger Chariot which is enclosed and they have a minor Chariot loaded on a Bullock cart. Another feature of this Temple is the Sub Shrine of Sri Baktha Anjaneya Swamy which is located opposite to the Temple and Sri Baktha Anjaneya Swamy faces the Sanctum Sanctorum. The Temple has a Madapalli for Prasadam distribution. The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is a Vilwa Maram and the Pushkarani is supposed to be River Cauvery. Sri Rama Navami, Narasimha Jayanthi, Hanumath Jayanthi, Krishna Jayanthi, Panguni Brahmmothsavam are some of the festivals celebrated in a grand manner.
