The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Lakshmi Hayagreevar and He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Mahalakshmi. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is made out of Saaligrama Stone.  A Yantra made out of Gold, Silver, Copper with images that explains the meaning and effects  of Mahamanthras is installed under the Presiding Deity.  One of the important factors of this Temple is that  the Presiding Deity and His Consort can be seen embracing each other and this ensures that the Devotee Couple worshipping in this Temple will have good understanding and bonding between them. Since Lakshmi Hayagreevar  is considered as  the God of Wisdom, every year during Vijayadasami Aksha Abhyasam is performed for all new school going children. Special Poojas are performed in order to increase the performance of their kids in education. People who have stammering problem come to this Temple to get rid of their stammering issues. Devotees perform Thirumanjanam and Archanai in order to pay their respects to Lord Hayagreevar. Float festival Avani Thiruvonam Star Day is celebrated in a grand manner and a flag hoisting ceremony is is performed 10 days prior to this Float festival.
