This great Temple of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar is located about 55 Kms from Chennai in a place named Narasingapuram, Via Perambakkam in Thiruvallur District. Those desirous of going to this Temple from Chennai ought to travel along the Chennai to Bangalore National Highway for quite sometime. They may have to take a right turn near Empee Distilleries well before Sriperumbudhur.  On  crossing further and just after reaching Mappedu Junction  this Temple is located nearly 200 metres  to the left of the main road. The name of the Presiding Deity is Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar and His consort is known as Maragathavalli Thaayar. In the Main Sanctum Sanctorum Maragathavalli Thaayar sits on the lap of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar with their arms clasped. The Main Deity stands  7 1/2 feet tall. There is a separate Sannadhi for the Maragathavalli Thaayar also. An Andal Sannnadhi is also found closeby. This Temple has been totally renovated and revamped around 7 years before. Recently the 45th Alagiya Singhar of Ahobhila Mutt had come to this Temple and graced. Devotees from far flung areas too visit this Temple. Messrs, Vijayaraghavan and  Sampath are the two Priests who take complete care of this Temple.
