The Presiding Deity is Anjaneya Swamy or Hanuman. The Temple is located on an elevated hillock in Panchamukhi, Karnataka. Since the Temple Town of Mantralayam / Andhra Pradesh is just 20 KMs away there is a steady flow of Devotees to this Temple. The Temple could be reached by Share Autos and Private Vehicles but the Sanctum could be reached by footsteps only. This Temple is close to the Banks of River Thungabadra and it is believed that Raghavendra Swamy performed Meditation here for 12 long years. It is widely believed that the Presiding Deity is self incarnated on a huge rock.  It is said that Raghavendra Swamy had seen Lord Hanuman in Five Avthars during his Meditation.  The footsteps of this Temple are quite steep for elders and Handicapped Devotees. There are Shrines for Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Nag Devatha and Raghavendra Swami too. The Temple draws lots of Devotees during Hanuman Jayanthi and other Government Holidays. The Temple is unique since Anjaneya Swamy is sculpted on a rock and hence there are no other statues for Him. There is an exclusive Prasadam counter just beneath the Sanctum. There are several small shops around this hillock Temple. Ample Car Parking space too is available.
