This is a huge Temple located in a busy place in Chikka Tirupathi. This Temple is locally called as Tirupathi Temple. There is a Welcome Arch leading to this Temple on the Southern side. The Temple is very unique since it has two East facing Rajagopurams. The taller Rajagopuram is made up of 7 tiers and East facing. The 2nd East facing Rajagopuram is made up of 5 tiers and is multi coloured. On either of the multi coloured five tiered Rajagopuram there are two Elephant Idols. Those praying for Balaji Temple in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh and could not visit there could very well come to this Temple in Chikka Tirupati and get their head tonsured here. On entering the Temple complex we could find Dwajasthambam and a Balipeedam located next to it. The Presiding Deity here is Sri Prasanna Venkateshwara Swamy who is an incarnation of Lord VIshnu. The Moolavar is seen East facing and in a standing posture. He is seen with Sree Devi and Bhoo Devi on either side. He is seen in a Abhayahastha Posture with the Naagabharanam worn around His waist. The Temple has a small sheltered area where Hindu Weddings are conducted. Next to this place is a Thirukalyana Mandapam where Celestial Weddings are conducted. A Temple Chariot / Car is found next to the Thirukalyana Mandapam. There is an exclusive Laddu Counter for catering the needs of Devotees and a Temple Thulabaram is also seen where Devotees can offer their Prayers. Devotees may have to climb a few steps to have a Dharshan of the Omnipotent Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swami and climb down the stairs. Climbing these stairs and coming down is considered as equivalent to climbing the Thirumala Hills. A well maintained Nandavanam is found around the Temple. A Sacred Temple Tank or a Pushkarani too is found. Since the Temple is located very close to Hosur it attracts Devotees not only from Karnataka but from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh too. The Temple has a huge parking area located at the rear of the Temple where Two Wheelers, Cars and even Buses could be parked with ease.
