Arulnirai Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is located in Easwaran Koil Street, in Vasantham Nagar, Ariyur on the outskirts of Vellore Town. The Temple is South facing and has a compound wall with a huge gate. The Temple authorities have erected a tinned roofing at the anterior of the Temple to save the Devotees from the vagaries of Nature. At the outset there is a Sub Shrine for Vinayagar who is seen East facing and it is customary for any Devotee to Pray to this Vinayagar first before visiting other Shrines. The next Sub Shrine is that of Shirdi Sai Baba who is seen on an elevated podium in a seating posture and East facing. This is the Gurusthan which was started decades ago initially. There is a pair of Divine Feet placed before the Gurusthan Sai Baba. Opposite to it there are four Trees which are planted closeby and they are Neem Tree, Arasa Maram, Thulasi and Athi Maram. Generally the aforesaid four Trees do not grow together but it is astonishing that within the Temple premises they are growing with full bloom. There is a podium in which a Divine Spear has been planted and the Arasa Maram which is construed as a revered Tree is wrapped with a Divine Cloth. The four Sacred Trees and the Spear etc are West facing and Devotees are allowed to circumambulate this revered area. Beyond it is a huge black boulder which is West facing and  considered to be very sacred and on top of it is a pair of Divine Feet made out of white marble. To the rear of this Sacred Boulder are two Images of Shirdi Sai Baba with a lamp stand meant to hold lighted oil lamps. Close to it is the Sub Shrine for Dwarakamayee Dhuni. There is a fire which keeps glowing 24X7 for years together and the Ashes or Dhuni are offered to the Devotees. In one corner of this Sub Shrine there are two Sai Baba's in a wooden cradle. While one Sai Baba is seated East facing and the other Sai Baba is seen in a reclined posture. On the other side of the same Sub Shrine a Smiling Sai Baba made out of white marble is seen. Devotees who come to Him with a specific Prayer get vibes within them almost instantly and it is said that such requests are fulfilled sooner than later. On entering the Maha Mandapam the Presiding Deity of Shirdi Sai Baba is seen North facing Blessing His Devotees. The Idol is made of a white marble stone fetched from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Devotees could circumambulate the Main Deity of Shirdi Sai Baba. Two pairs of Divine Feet are kept on two sides of the rostrum. A Wooden Palanquine is made available in the main hall and there is an Image and an Idol of Sai Baba along with His Divine Feet. This Palanquine is taken around on festive occasions in honour of Shirdi Sai Baba. This main hall could very easily hold hundreds of Sai Devotees at the same time. Sai Bhajans and Sai Devotional songs on festive and auspicious days are the hallmark of this Temple. At the other end of the same hall is a small elevated stage where Divine functions, Song, Dance etc could be performed with effortless ease. Sathyanarayana Pooja and Poojas similar to it like Vijayadasami, Krishna Jayanthi, Sri Rama Navami are celebrated here with great fanfare. This Sai Baba Temple in Ariyur has a huge Annadhana Koodam for the sake of its Devotees. Annadhanam and Prasadams are distributed to all Devotees and it is a regular feature of this Temple. The Temple is gettting spruced up with a Temple Garden or a Temple Nanadhavanam with a combination of Flowers and Herbal Plants. The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is a Neem Tree. This Temple has been kept meticulously clean and the Temple President Sri G.Kothandan has to be lauded for his sincere efforts in bringing this Temple to this level. In recent days the name and fame of this Temple seems to be reaching far flung places due to which an overwhelming number of Devotees from far and near throng here on all auspicious days.
