Sree Sundarraja Perumal Temple is located in Sannadhi Street of Veeravanallur near Ambasamudhram.  The Presiding Deity here is Sri Sundararaja Perumal who is an incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu.  His Consort here is  Sundaravalli Thaayar, who is Goddess Maha Lakshmi.  The Presiding Deity is seen in a standing posture along with His Consorts Bhoo Devi and Sri Devi thereby Blessing His Devotees.  There are Sub Shrines for Navaneetha Krishna Perumal,  Alwars, Sri Ramanujar,  Sri Nigamantha Maha Desikar and Vishvaksenar.  This Temple is more than 1500 years old and there is a Mandapam built in Sannathi Street where small functions could be held.  The Presiding Deity is known for His Courage and Valour and it is for this reason that Veera Pandiya Kattabomman and his retinue of Ministers made it a practice to visit this Temple before every war and almost won all the wars defeating their enemies.  On the outer peripheral of the Temple a concrete podium has been built for conducting religious functions.  The Temple has a very big Sacred tank or Pushkarani known as Amirtha Pushkarani.  There is a Manimandapam located in the middle of the Pushkarani and water flows from several canels leading from River Thamirabharani.  The Temple gains significance since it is that Saint Kaashyapa Munivar had visited this Temple and had Prayed to Sundararaja Perumal.  The Temple has many colourful Vaahanams including a Garuda Vaahanam.  This Temple has very few Devotees visiting here and it needs all the encouragement from the public and from the local villagers in the days ahead.
