This Temple is also called as Sri Usha Padmini Chaya Samedha Sri Surya Narayana Swami Temple and is located on the banks of River Antharavahini or Thulyabhaga. This Temple came into the reckoning in the year 1920 through the hard working efforts of a benevolent Zamindhar known as Kovuri Basivi Reddy who had rendered his entire life for the upliftment of this Temple. Around 16 acres of wet land was donated by various families for building this Temple and for its periodic maintenance. This Temple is dedicated to the Sun God or Surya Bhagwan. The Temple is East facing and the Rajagopuram is 3 tiered and before the Rajagopuram there is a huge Idol of Surya Narayana Perumal sitting in a Horse drawn Chariot with 7 Horses and its rein is held by the God Himself giving an imposing look to the Devotees seeing it. There is a Sangu and Chakkaram on either side of the Horse driven Chariot. The Temple has a compound wall with a Iron gate and on either side of it are Garudalwar and Anjaneya Swamy. The threshold leading to the Temple is etched and engraved with different Divinely Idols and here too the Dwara Baalakas are found on either side of the gateway. A pair of Ganapathy Idols facing each other could be seen here. A Balipeedam and a Dwajasthambam is found on entering and next to them is a Garudalwar Idol found in a kneeling posture with folded hands facing the Sanctum Sanctorum. There is a small frontal Mandapam where Divine functions and Rituals could be held for the benefit of the Devotees. At the threshold of the Moolasthanam there are a pair of Dwara Baalakas on either side. On top of the threshold Sri Surya Narayana Swami is enclosed in a glass panel where he is seen driving a horse driven Chariot. On either side of this glass panel a Sangu and a Chakaram could be seen. The Sanctum Sanctorum looks glittering with white tiles. Lord Surya Narayana Swamy could be seen in a standing posture in the centre with His Consorts Usha and Chaaya on either side. The Urchavamoorthy Idols too are found beneath the Presiding Deity. There are two more Sub Shrines flanking the Main Shrine and the Idols of Lakshmi Narayana Swami and Sathya Narayana Swami are seen respectively. Close to this is a Ganapathy Idol with Gold Kavasam. The outer peripheral of the Temple has several pillars to it and all the pillars are covered with wall papers or gorgeously painted. Divine functions could be held here with ease. There is an coloured casting of Venkateshwara Perumal along with Padmavathi Thaayar which looks so resplendent to the eyes of the Devotees. On the other side there is a tiled place with an elevated stage where Divine functions could be held. Since the Temple follows the Thengalai Vaishava Sampradhaya, a huge Image of Thiruman and Sri Churnam along with a Sangu and a Chakaram is seen drawn in one of the inner walls of the Temple.
