Sree Varaha Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple is situated in Simhachalam a few Kms away from Vizag City. Its a hill top Vaishnava Temple and has a  a motorable ghat road leading to the Temple. The Presiding deity is an incarnation of Maha Vishnu and is one of the 32 important  Narasimhaswami Temples in Andhra Pradesh. The Temple comes under the  Simhachalam Devasthanam Board. This Temple is West facing unlike most other Temples which face East. This Temple has a five tiered Raja Gopuram along with few other Mandabams.  The Vimana of Simhachalam Temple is  with a gold plated arch including a Vaishnavite symbol. The sanctum sanctorum of the Temple is cubical in shape.  , the symbol of Varaha Narasimha is more than two feet tall. The God remains in a tribhanga act with a Hog's head, a Human Trunk  and a Lion's tail.On either side of the God, the icons of Sridevi and Bhudevi holding the Lotus are seen. The Temple has two Sacred Tanks or Pushkarani  called as Swami Pushkarini  on the hill close to the Temple and Gangadhara at the base of the hill. There are no artificial decorations to the Presiding Deity and He is preserved in genuine Sandalwood paste got from Srivilliputhur in Tamil Nadu. There are Sub Shrines for Andal, Lakshmi and Alwars. The Consort of the Presiding deity  here is Simhavalli or Varaha Lakshmi. . Devotees from all over India come here to this Temple to get the Blessings of Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Perumal  all through the year. The Temple has a lot of Car Parkings
