The Presiding Deity of this Temple Sri Veera Venkata Sathyanarayana Swamy and He is an incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu. He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Goddess Anantha Lakshmi. This Temple is located on a small hillock named Rathnagiri. There is a Welcome Arch leading to this Temple from the main road. Devotees visiting this Temple can reach this Temple either by foot steps or by a motorable ghat road. At the entrance of the ghat road a vehicular fee is levied for each vehicle and along with it there is a security check done for the vehicle. This Temple is located on the Banks of River Pampa. This Temple is considered to be the second most Sacred Temple after the Balaji Temple in Thirumala. On the hilltop there are 4 to 5 car parking available and most of the car parkings are almost filled up. The Rajagopuram facing West is 5 tiered but there are entry points from other directions too. Various types of Darshans like free Darshan, paid Darshan etc are available. Mobile phones and Cameras are not allowed and ought to be deposited at a counter meant for it. The Temple is actually 2 storied. The first floor of the Temple consists of the Main Deity and Devotees may have to climb several steps to go there. The threshold to the Sanctum Sanctorum has gold kavasams and looks very attractive. The Veera Venkata Sathyanarayana Swamy Vigraham is black in colour and looks resplendent. In the Sanctum Sanctorum Veera Venkata Sathyanarayana Swamy is seen in the centre and He is flanked by Lord Shiva with Naagar on one side and by Mahalakshmi on the other side. The Temple has several Maha Mandapams both, in the ground floor and the First floor and all of them are pillared carrying various Idols of different Gods and are painted white in colour. Lord Shiva is found as Swaroopam atop the Yanthiram and on the four corners are Ganapathy, Surya Bhagwan, Bala Thirupura Sundari and Uma Maheswara Swamy. Most of the pillars in the ground floor are found with Lion and Elephant Idols. The Urchavamoorthy of this Temple is located at a place where Theertham and Shadaari are given. To avoid long queues Shadaari and Theertham are not given at the Sanctum Sanctorum but instead they are given in two different places. This Temple has Thulabaaram facilities. A huge and modern Madapalli or Temple Kitchen functions in a full fledged manner as a result of which the Temple is able to provide free Annadhanam to all Devotees coming here. The circular Ghoshala is so attractive and Devotees could buy Grass and Cattle feed on payment and feed them to the Cows by themselves. There is a huge Tree beneath which a Ganapathi Idol along with a Nandhi Bhagwan and Naga Devathas are prayed. The entire ground floor has a Mandapam where Devotees pay and perform various types of Poojas and Parihaara Poojas. Likewise Sathya Narayana Pooja is done on the first floor near the Moolasthanam. The Temple has facilities to break coconuts at places earmarked for them and the thus broken coconuts are heaped together to look like a hillock. There are places earmarked for Ear Boring and Tonsuring. There are few Marriage Halls around the Temple complex and several Wedding are performed here annually. On other days these Marriage Halls are used to conduct Discources and other Divine Functions. Several Devasthanam Cottages have been built all around the Temple and Devotees coming here could avail these facilities cheaply by booking them online. Outside the Temple there are counless number of Shops selling Divine Articles, Pooja Items, Flowers and Garlands. Apart from this there are shops for snacks, juices and other eatables. Closer to one of the Marriage Halls an elevated spot with few steps could be seen and on top of it is a Sun Dial or a Sun Clock where people could find out the time without their watches. From here River Pampa could be seen and it is so eye captivating. Festivals like Ugadi, Chitra Bahula Shasti, Krishna Jayanthi, sri Rama Navami, Navarathri, Vijayadasami, Karthigai Shudha Dwadesi, Karthigai Pournima and Maha Shivarathiri are celebrated in a grand mannner and during these times several lakhs of Devotees come to this hilltop Temple either by foot or by other vehicles. The Temple runs its own buses to the Temple top from the foot hills. This Temple is considered as Raahu Kethu Parihaara Sthalam.
