The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Goddess Saraswathi. This Temple is one of the most Sacred Saraswathi Temple after Basara Temple. Since this Tmeple is Dedicated to the Goddess of Educateion Aksharaabyasa for children  is famous here. This Temple was built by Yamavaram Chandrashekhara Sharma in the year 1989. The foundation statue of Goddess Vidya Saraswathi was installed by Vidya Nrusimhaswamy in the year 1992. This Temple also has a Shrine for Lord Shaneeswara Bhagavan.. Currently this Temple is being administered and maintained by the Kanchi Mutt. This Temple is built on a raised platform and The Sanctum Sanctorum of this Temple can be seen in The Third floor. Out side the Temple complex has a 10 feet Idol of Goddess Saraswathi can be seen from quite some distance.. This Temple also has Sub Shrines for Lord Lakshmi Ganapathy and Lord Shiva. Festivals like Panchami, Navartri Mahaotsavam and Shani Triyodasi are celebrated in a grand Manner here.
