Vaishnodevi Temple or Vaishno Devi Mandir is located in Subhash Lane of Parimal Nagar in Malad East in Mumbai City.  This Temple is located at a walking distance from Malad Railway Station. The Presiding Deity here is Goddess Vaishnodevi.  This Temple is a typical replica of the original Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu.  They have designed the Temple and have structured it in an amazing way for the sake of the Devotees.  The moment Devotees enter the Temple they could feel the water flowing from beneath their feet.  This way the Devotees feel that its not only the dirt from the feet that is washed away but also the Sins of their Souls.  It is cave like all over and first you have to walk, then bend or stoop and walk and then at times crawl too to reach the Sanctum Sanctorum where Maa Vaishno Devi Blesses Her Devotees.  The Bhajans and the Keerthans which keep singing there all the time is simply music to the ears.  They have also designed a Holy Cow in such a way that the Holy Jal or Holy Water pours from within its mouth.  Here too the Deity is said to be Omnipotent and the Devotees come and Pray to here with all reverence. It is said that the wishes of the Devotees coming here are usually fulfilled by Mata Vaishnodevi very soon.  There are Sub Shrines for Shiva, Hanuman and certain other Gods at the point of the exit.  Mishri or Sugar cubicles are offered as Prasad to all Devotees.  The Temple administration does not allow leather articles such as Belts, Wallets and Purses and they have to be kept outside. Since the fame and power of this Temple has reached everywhere, several people from Mumbai and other far flung Cities and Suburbs throng here to have a glimpse of Goddess Vaishno Devi since it is very difficult for these Devotees to go the Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu.
