Basketball S.Rajendran, as he is affectionately called as, is a Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police from Tamil Nadu. He hails from Thiruvaiyaru in Thanjavur District. He joined as a young Sub-Inspector of Police in the 1979 batch and super annuated recently. He is a keen basketbsll player having represented his College and  University.  He is God fearing and has a keen passion for visiting temples across the country.
