This Dharga is a beautiful Shrine dedicated to Sufi Saint, Moinuddin Chishti. This Dharga is built over the Tomb of Moinuddin Chishti and is considered to be one of the holiest places in the world by Muslims. The hymns that are sung by the Sufi saints will reverberate in the mind of people visiting this Dhurga. Mughal King Humayun had a very big hand in building this Magnificent Dharga. This Dharga was built in the year 1532. The Dome of this Dharga is made out of white Marble. The Dharga is a perfect example of Indo-Islamic architecture. There is a Gold crown on the Dome which was donated by Rampur's Nawab Haider Ali Khan. Canopy made of mother-of-pearl and silver was gifted to this Dharga by Mughal King Jahangir. The ceiling is etched with gold and the huge walls of this Dharga was gilded in the year 1888. There are 8 entrance in this Dharga out of which only three are in use. The Yellow coloured Main Nizam Gate of this Dharga is designed using floral Pattern and is donated by Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Osman Ali Khan in the year 1911. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan also Donated a huge Gate for this Dharga's enterance. Sultan Mahmud Khalji was responsible for developing this Dharga to it's current structure. The Jannati Darwaza is a door made of silver that is used only on special occasions. There are 8 different tombs in this Dharga for Saint Chishti's Family Members. Emperor Akbar Gifted a huge chandelier named Sahn Chirag to this Dharga and is still maintained beautifully.
