This Dharga is also known as Syed Shahul Hameed Dharga or Nagore Andavar Dharga. This Dharga is built over the Tomb of Syed Shahul Hameed. The Outer Doors of this Dharga is open all time and the inner doors are kept open from morning 4:30 AM to 7 AM and from evening 6:25 PM to 9 Pm. Hindu King Atchuthappa Naayak donated whopping 200 Acrs of land to Shahul Hameed for his entourage since he cured the King's affliction. Shahul Hameed predicted his death in advance and advised his adopted son Yusuf about his burial location and rites that are to be performed after his death. Prathap Singh the Hindu Maratha King prayed for a son in this Dharga and built five tall minarets each with a height of 131 feet once his wish was fullfilled. Maratha King Thuljaji, the son of Pratap Singh, donated 4,000 acres of of agricultural land to this dargah. During European invasion Nawab of Arcot, the Maratha Kings and Tippu Sultan of Mysore Considered this Dharga as a strategical spot for them. The main complex of this Dharga has four entrances in each direction. This Dharga Complex is built on a 5 acr land and enclosed by a compound wall. The Dargah has a gold-plated dome at the main entrance over the tombs of Shahul Hameed, his son Yusuf and his daughter-in-law Saeeda Sultana Biwi. There are 7 Doorways out of which 3 are made of Gold and other 4 are made out of Silver. There is a Holy tank named Shifa Gunta and devotees are allowed to take a holy dip. Kanduri festival, a 14-day annual event celebrated during the death anniversary of Saint Shahul Hameed draws huge people from far and near. Nearly 75 per cent of pilgrims visiting this Dargah everyday are Hindus. Traditional Hindu style of worship is performed in this Dharga. Shahul Hameed with help of this Dargah revered many religious Tamil literature across different countries. It is believed that the prayers done in this Dharga can cure any ailments of the devotees
