Nizamuddin Markaz Mosque is also called as Alami Markaz Banglewali Masjid . This place is considered as the Global Birth place of Tablighi Jamaat network.  This Tablighi Jamaat network  is nothing but a missionary and reformist movement started by Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi in the year 1926.  Around this Mosque complex we can see many Money Exchange Companies, Guesthouses, Travel Agencies and Gift Shops.  New York Times states that this Mosque complex is a tall white modern building built over Nizamuddin. This building is six storey tall and can accommodate upto 2000 people at a time. This Mosque complex is very close to Hazrat Nizamuddin Police Station. There is a Madarasa inside this Markaz Masjid known as Kashiful Uloom. During day time these huge halls of this Masjid are used as  Prayer Halls for 2000 to 3000 people and during night they are used as sleeping halls for nearly 200 to 300 people in each floor. This Mosque was built by Mirza Ilahi Baksh in the 1857. The Madarasa was established in this Mosque in order to train the people to perform proper Prayers.
